Long live the fighters as Warner Bros. Studios releases the second official trailer for director Denis Villeneuve’s second half of his sci-fi epic Dune: Part Two. View trailer below.
“Dune: Part Two” will explore the mythic journey of Paul Atreides as he unites with Chani and the Fremen while on a warpath of revenge against the conspirators who destroyed his family. Facing a choice between the love of his life and the fate of the known universe, he endeavors to prevent a terrible future only he can foresee.
Oh wow….I wasn’t expecting this trailer to drop today…or for that matter this soon. Thought it would’ve been released sometime in August or September. Still, I’m very much so glad that it did. As I’ve previously stated, I’m such a huge fan of the 2021 film and looked quite forward to seeing what Part Two has to offer. This new trailer showcases a much more grandeur scope and scale of the latter half of Herbert’s novel, with a larger focus on conflict over control of Arrakis. The new footage shown also shows a lot more of Zendaya’s Chani, which I do like. And yes…. we finally get our first glimpse (and dialogue) of Christopher Walken’s portrayal of Emperor Shaddam IV of House Of Corrino. Looks incredible. In the end, I’m super hyped to see this movie and I can’t wait to see what Part Two has to offer in the epic tale of power, freedom, and the powers of control.
