Al Watan TV, a Kuwaiti variety satellite TV channel broadcasting from Kuwait, started official broadcasting on September 9, 2007 with an official ceremony attended by Crown Prince Sheikh Nawaf Al-Ahmad Al-Sabah. The station has two channels, Al Watan and Al Watan Plus, which is the satellite channel of the main channel and is dedicated to showing sports and political meetings and to replaying programs and series.
