La 2 Live

La 2 is a Spanish free-to-air television channel, the second channel of the Televisión Española group, in turn belonging to the public corporation Radio Televisión Española. Its programming is based on cultural spaces, public service and with a minority vocation compared to its sister channel La 1. Its headquarters are located in San Cugat del Vallés, Barcelona. In June 2010, the Board of Directors of RTVE turned La 2 into a strictly cultural channel, with the aim of positioning it as a reference channel for creativity and talent, giving more access and voice to citizens. Since then La 2 no longer broadcasts its sports programming (which is now broadcast on Teledeporte) nor its children's programming (which is now broadcast on Clan).
