The broadcaster was born in 1984 from the merger of two broadcasters that operated in Rome and part of Lazio: Teleromana and R.T.O. The headquarters are located in Rome in via Flaminia number 397. Its distribution area is throughout Lazio and part of Campania. Rete Oro programming in 1984 was 18 hours a day. Publisher is Umberto Tersigni, building contractor, former founder of the first private television in Lazio and Telejolly. Since the beginning, Rete Oro has boasted numerous self-produced programs with a large following from the public.
