The canal began its operation in December 1988 in the prefecture of Cyclades. It is the first TV channel in the region and covers the islands of the Cyclades as well as several areas in the South Aegean. It promotes informative, political and social broadcasts concerning the region as well as current issues of Political Current Affairs.
