Channel 6ter direct is a French television network offered free of charge via digital terrestrial television, satellite, and DSL. It started broadcasting on 12 December 2012. It is a subsidiary of Groupe M6. The name 6ter was chosen for the channel as the younger "sister" of M6. It is a very unusual channel and has beautiful content. 6ter's programming is family-oriented.
