"Alternative-Tele-Radio" LLC was established in Ganja on January 5, 2001. Alternative TV aired for the first time since March 15, 2001. Since April 18, 2001, it has switched to a 6-hour air mode. Since July 1, 2002, airtime has been increased to 14 hours. The aim is to demonstrate to the audience of ganja city and surrounding regions animated, feature and documentary films, music and Local News "News+" Information Program and other programs. The founder of" alternative-Tele-Radio " LLC is Hikmet Jafar Targuliyev. Of the total airtime, 39% were programs produced in the country, 46% were programs produced abroad, and 15% were private production programs. Then the format was changed and the air was switched to 24-hour air mode. After changing its format in 2013, it became the first music TV channel in Azerbaijan. From March to may 2014, ARB's test broadcast was broadcast on Azerspace-1 satellite, KATV1, Aile TV, ATV plus cable television. In March 2015, it changed its logo and switched to 16:9. It was broadcast from March 18, 2015 to February 11, 2019 via Azerspace-1 satellite.
