Caracol Televisión (acronym for Cadena Radial Colombiana de Televisión, better known as Caracol) is a Colombian open television channel, which has its institutional origin in the traditional radio broadcasting company Caracol, acronym for Cadena Radial Colombiana. The channel is owned by the subscription channels Novelas Caracol, Canal Época, Caracol Internacional and the digital terrestrial television channels Caracol HD2 and La Kalle. The company is owned by the Grupo Valorem of businessman Alejandro Santo Domingo Dávila.
