China Central Television's Health and Health Channel started broadcasting on January 1, 2004. It is the only health and health professional channel operated by China Central Television. The channel was originally jointly organized by CCTV and Shanghai Radio and Television. On January 1, 2014, the Health and Health Channel was owned by CCTV.The channel name was changed to CCTV Health and Health.
