The Chechen State Television and Radio Company "Grozny" is the main television channel of the Chechen Republic. It includes two main areas: television and radio. Grozny television and radio aired for the first time on March 23, 2003. The first program on the channel was coverage of the voting process of the referendum on the adoption of the Constitution of the Chechen Republic, as well as the law on presidential and Parliamentary elections. By that time, the staff of the TV channel included less than 40 people, and the equipment included 2 editing tables and 2 video cameras.
