ČT1 is the first channel of Czech Television. ČT1 is a mainstream programme with a family-oriented programme scheme. Čt 1, which many people call simply number one, is one of the first Czech television stations. The Čt 1 programme is exclusively family-oriented, broadcasting films, serials and various shows online. It began broadcasting in color in 1975. It has been popular for many generations, and thanks to free-to-air broadcasts, it has taken hold even among younger followers who have entered rather competitive television in their search engines.
