IB3 is the public broadcaster belonging to the Ens Públic de Radiotelevisió de les Illes Balears (EPRTVIB) group, dedicated to the production and broadcasting of television. It was created, together with the Entity and the radio, IB3 Ràdio, by Law 7/85 of May 22, 1985, on March 26, 2004.1 IB3 is a member of the Federation of Regional Radio and Television Organizations (FORTA). From March 2, 2009 to October 2012, IB3 broadcast a version of IB3 in Catalonia, halfway between IB3 and IBSat. Although coverage was offered through the Internet and satellite television, the cessation of (IBSat) broadcasts was announced.
