The National Assembly Channel is a Quebec television channel dedicated entirely to the work of the National Assembly of Quebec. The National Assembly of Quebec has had a channel, since 1978, which captures and retransmits all parliamentary debates and committee work. The channel broadcast, in 2008-2009, a total of 8,760 hours. Its programming allows the population to learn more about the workings of the Quebec parliamentary system. In particular, the National Assembly produces the Mémoires de députés series, which gives the floor to former Quebec parliamentarians.
