REN TV is a Russian federal television channel. The TV company was founded on January 1, 1991, but until 1997 it did not have its own frequency and produced broadcasts for ORT, RTR, NTV. REN TV is one of the largest Russian national broadcasters. The main shareholder of REN TV is the National Media Group (68%), which also includes Channel Five, Channel One, Izvestia newspaper, Russian News Service radio station, Art Pictures Vision and METRO-Petersburg.
