Radiotelevizija Slovenija (abbreviated RTV Slovenija) is the only public, non-profit broadcasting organization in Slovenia. It operates as a public institution of special cultural and national importance, as it performs a public service with the aim of ensuring the cultural, social and Democratic needs of citizens of the Republic of Slovenia, Slovenes around the world, members of Slovenian national minorities in Italy, Austria and Hungary, as well as members of the Italian and Hungarian national communities living on the territory of Slovenia.
