Televisión de Galicia (abbreviated TVG; usually known as A Galega, in Galician, or La Gallega, in Spanish) is a Spanish free-to-air television channel, the autonomous public television channel of Galicia and, as such, is part of the Radio e Televisión de Galicia Corporation (CRTVG) along with the radio station Radio Galega. Televisión de Galicia started its regular broadcasts on July 24, 1985. The first broadcast consisted of an opening ceremony, on the side esplanade of the production and broadcast center of San Marcos (Santiago de Compostela). The adjustment letter appeared on the screen at 18.30 and an hour later, a clock and header gave way to a header.
