UTV Televisora Universitaria is a local Ecuadorian television channel, created on January 1, 2005. whose founder is Dr. Josè Revelo. It officially started broadcasting on July 13, 2006 on the occasion of the commemoration of the 20th anniversary of the Technical University of the North. The canal covers the provinces of Imbabura and Carchi. It broadcasts 18 hours of programming a day, most of it educational and cultural. It broadcasts from the city of Ibarra.
