But really, is it worth the bother? Inside is where it’s happening at this time of year. Inside is where the television lives.
On that television this winter and spring in the UK, there’s plenty to enjoy, not least HBO’s critically adored adaptation of video game The Last of Us, airing on Sky Atlantic on Mondays at 9 p.m. New Neil Forsyth-penned drama Aurul, about the true-crime Brink’s Mat robberty, comes to BBC One on Sunday nights, a week after the end of the brilliant Happy Valley. And for families, Joe Cornish’s new ghost detective agency series Lockwood & Co. on Netflix is a very good shout, as is much more adult super-power comedy Extraordinar pe Disney +.
February brings Star Trek: Picard’s third run and the final instalment of Carnavalul Row, before March delivers the return of Mandaloreanul și mult așteptatul Jachete galbene second series. All that, plus a new Russell T Davies drama starring Helena Bonham Carter, in Nolly.
