Disney has unleashed the first trailer for Lucasfilm’s upcoming live-action series Ратови звезда: Ахсока, and this show looks like it’s going to be freakin’ incredible! This trailer is absolutely stunning, and I’m overwhelmed with excitement right now! The trailer premiered at Star Wars Celebration today, which I wish I was at, and you can bet that fans at the event went wild over this trailer!
The series is set after the fall of the Empire, Ахсока “follows the former Jedi knight Ahsoka Tano (Росарио Давсон) as she investigates an emerging threat to a vulnerable galaxy.”
Ahsoka and Sabine (Натасха Лиу Бордиззо) are on the hunt for Grand Admiral Thrawn in hopes that it will lead them to find the lost Ezra Bridger, the young Jedi who disappeared with Thrawn many years ago. The series directly follows up on several threads from the animated series Побуњеници Звезданих Ратова.
The footage also confirms that Мари Елизабетх Винстеад is playing Hera Syndulla, and the droid, Chopper, is also back. We even get our first glimpse at Grand Admiral Thrawn and the trailer teases the whole “Heir to the Empire,” thing which was an overt nod to Timothy Zahn’s iconic Extended Universe novels.
The series also stars Хаиден Цхристенсен as Anakin Skywalker, Иванна Сакхно, еман есфанди as Ezra, и Раи Стевенсон. The limited series is written by Даве Филони who executive produces along with Јон Фавреау Катхлеен Кеннеди.
The series will debut exclusively on Disney+ in August 2023.
