TCI, Televisione Cristiana in Italy, has been a broadcaster open to all Christian denominations for more than 40 years, with the aim of spreading and sharing the Gospel of Jesus Christ through television waves. As already mentioned, the history of the TCI began in 1979, following an idea of Chuck Hall, the director, who has always claimed to have received a "vision" in which he saw Italy covered by a large network, symbol of God s desire to announce the Gospel, in our nation, through a television channel. The network covered millions of people intent on praying. Of Christian inspiration, the contents of this TV are characterized by an editorial line that refers to the charismatic movement, one of the branches of the Protestant church and some Catholic movements. The target, however, is open to all Christian denominations.
