VTV, also known as Vica TV, is a Honduran free-to-air television channel, founded in 1985 by the company Voz e Imagen de Centroamérica. Founded in 1985 by broadcasting entrepreneur Jorge Sikaffy, VTV initially operated channels 2 in San Pedro Sula and 9 in Tegucigalpa under the name Voz e Imagen de Centroamérica (VICA).1 In 2002, its name was cut to VICA Televisión and its programming changed to focus on original productions of the channel, programs with youth casts, imported television series, animated series and foreign films. The channel bought the broadcasting rights for the 2008-2009 UEFA Champions League seasons together with the Televicentro Corporation.
