Channel 6 - The News Channel in Honduras. We started operations officially, when on June 27, 1977, the Honduran telecommunications company, Hondutel, resolved the authorization to install and operate a Radio Television Station in the city of San Pedro Sula, Department of Cortes, identified with the frequency of operations, CHANNEL 6. Since its inception, it imposed a series of changes on traditional television, with broadcasts that extended from 24 hours a day, foreign current affairs films and with an aggressive, bold newscast and the participation of a people who have for the first time a media where they are listened to and can make their demands against the authority known in their own voice.
