Esport3 is a Spanish free-to-air television channel, the third channel operated by Televisió de Catalunya, belonging to the Catalan Audiovisual Media Corporation. It offers a programming of a marked sports character. After starting its broadcasts in tests on October 18, 2010, it was officially launched on February 5, 2011 at 21:45 with a small presentation event at the Camp Nou, Barça stadium, because its first regular broadcast was the football match played between Barça and Atlético de Madrid, corresponding to the twenty-second matchday of the Spanish League of 1st Division, simultaneously with TV3 and TV3 HD
