ČT2 is the second channel of Czech Television. The station is oriented to culture, education, documentaries and programs focused on nature, history and science. In 2011, two so-called thematic days were introduced. The second programme of Czech public television is familiar to every viewer in our country. ČT2 focuses on programmes dealing with minorities and minority genres, its programme includes a number of magazines, documentaries, as well as various series and films. "Deuce", as this program is popularly called, broadcasts 24 hours a day and can be tuned by viewers in all possible ways of receiving digital broadcasts – so the program is included both in terrestrial broadcasting and in the offers of cable, IPTV and satellite operators.
