La Otra (stylized as laOtra) is the second autonomous television channel of the Community of Madrid (Spain), broadcasting through the Digital Terrestrial Television system. Affiliated to the FORTA since its birth, as it depends on the Public Entity RadioTelevisión Madrid, it is a public broadcaster that belongs exclusively to the autonomous government. It began broadcasting on October 1, 2000 on DTT, which makes it the first Spanish television network created to broadcast exclusively through this system. In addition to this network, the Public Entity RadioTelevisión Madrid includes its main channel, Telemadrid, Telemadrid HD and a radio Onda Madrid.
