Mir is an interstate television and radio company broadcasting in Russian. It was established in 1992 by an Agreement of the Heads of the CIS member States in order to highlight political, economic and humanitarian cooperation, form a common information space and promote international information exchange. The broadcasting company is an international organization with headquarters in Moscow and national branches and representative offices in 9 countries.
