TV Girona, often abbreviated as TV Girona, is a private local television channel broadcasting from the city of Girona. It has an average audience of 28,000 viewers daily. It started broadcasting one-off programmes in 1985 thanks to the collective Viktor Viktorinema Group. Regular broadcasts arrived in 1988. In 2007 he moved the studios, changing a flat on Barcelona street for smaller facilities in the city centre and at street level. In 2008 it switched from analog to digital broadcasting with the arrival of DTT, which meant its professionalization and legal coverage.
